EU organic product certification is the standard certification of organic products formulated by EU Member States. On June 24, 1991, EU promulgated the organic agriculture regulation (EEC ﹣ no.2092 / 91) and its amendment. In 2007, EEC no.2092/91 was abolished by the European Union. The current effective organic regulations of the European Union are: (EC) no 834 / 2007 and (EC) no 889 / 2008.
