On September 07-14, 2018, Hermenegildo Castanho, president of AGRICERT, a Portuguese certification authority, visited KCB. AGRICERT is the largest local food and agricultural products certification agency in Portugal. Its main business areas include European Union Organic EC, American Organic NOP, Japanese Organic JAS, Swiss Organic, GLOBAL GAP, etcDuring the visit, the two sides conducted in-depth communication and exchanges on cooperation in food and agricultural products certification, and reached a strategic cooperation agreement. Meanwhile, AGRICERT Quality Manager Diana has trained KCB inspectors and certification managers. The training contents include GLOBAL GAP certification standard, certification process and on-site inspection skills. Through training, we have further deepened our understanding of GLOBAL GAP and achieved the expected training effect.
     During this visit, Mr. Hermenegildo Castanho visited and inspected Kcb European Union Organic Certification Enterprise and Global gap Certification Enterprise, and completed the on-site witness to the global gap inspector of Kcb. Mr. Hermenegildo Castanho highly appraised the Kcb Certification Enterprise and the global gap inspector. Currently, Kcb has three global gap inspectors. The evaluation of agricert has laid a good foundation for further expanding the market.
